So...
For some reason, it seems like teachers have decided that the best way to make me turn out a good portfolio is to make me feel about ten inches high in regards to my work. It's frustrating, because I know that criticism is to improve work, but when a teacher makes a point of talking to me individually to pretty much tell me that my ideas don't resonate with people, and another one casually drops in conversation that I overconceptualize projects/tries to spin me in a totally different direction in response to a yes or no question, while the third just refuses to even talk about my project at all...well, how exactly am I supposed to fix that?
F**k.
I don't want to feel sorry for myself, but it's hard to feel motivated to keep up with five studio classes when its implied that you aren't good enough anyway, so why even bother? *frustrated*
