Wow....

You leave for a few weeks and look how much this place changes.

Though, for one, I like the versatility of the whole My LJ link. I can see who posted last, birthdays, recent comments... EVERYTHING on like one screen. Kick some ass!

So, I Have a few birthdays coming up. Thinking I should send naked pics to a few of the unfortunate few. ~LOL~ It's a good thing I started working out again. It's amazing how fast I can make a little bit of a gut go away without a lot of effort. But, the added energy has been a bonus, to say the least.

Nothing really new on this end though, dear friends. No... Work still sucks, I'd still rather be living on my own.

I get closer and closer to putting pencil to paper again and at least getting weeks, if not month's worth of my webcomic together. Of course, it'll lay stagnant until I can get a PC that will actually let me make this a reality, but you know... Soon, I will be ready and actually making the effort to get this ball rolling, though I'm having many a doubt about the story line. It seems too dark, even for me... So I am exploring a humorous side to the whole thing since my mood has been brightening somewhat as of late.

Outside of that, latestest news is as follows:
1) We've got 2 new hires in my department and they are well into the training program. Should be ready to start their shifts before the end of this month so vacation for me is becoming a brighter possibility. Torn between Sac-to for a weekend of Phoenix for a week. If I can pull both off, then it's on.

2) I have my own television, finally. Though, as figured, it is getting more use by roommates than myself. You know how I abhor television, so the 27 inch Sony Wega Trinitron SDTV might be a good buy because it wasn't extravagant and getting some proper use.

3) I am working out again, finally. I've been far too lazy and though I never did break 200 lbs again, I am trying to aim for a more respectable cut version of 175. That's the goal at least, so I'll keep working at that.

4) I am ready for fall... This hot weather that's feeding me $188 electric bills just doesn't seem fair, but then I look at how my apartment faces the afternoon sun (or at least 90% of the windows) and I shouldn't be shocked. Especially with the recent string of triple digit temps we've had. September can't get here fast enough.

5) Nothing else to really report. That's about all that's going on.

Hope my friends are all well. Talk you all later.
