valentines day
so i have a pretty great boyfriend. he came to visit this weekend. he showed up friday afternoon after i got off work. we hung around the house for a while, played with bella, took a nap. then we headed downtown for one of my favorite treats. we had vinnie's pizza to go and took it down to the river to eat while drinking wet willie's. yum. it's fantastic to do when the weather is nice. we watched a movie at home friday night. i woke up saturday really not feeling well. i managed to make scrambled eggs for everyone for breakfast. he got me a the cutest present. post-it notes (cuz i can't live without them), a bag of red and purple skittles (he picked all the rest cuz i only like those two colors), a little bear that says be mine, and some heart shaped candles. oh and a card that is a love remote. awesome =) i slept for a good part of the day. but mostly we laid around watching movie and playing yahtzee (i think i've created a monster). we were supposed to go to the grocery store to buy food for a dinner we were going to make at home. never made it there. i didn't even really want to eat. but boyfriend was up to the challenge and made some hamburger helper. he did a great job, esp since he'd never had it before. i ate a few of the noodles. we watched random movies, one being The House Bunny. a delightfully bad movie. sunday i woke up feeling better. not great, but better. so i dragged him to the movies to see He's Just Not Into You. but then i treated him to wild wings afterwards. the movie has a Love Actually feel to it. and it's totally how girls think about boys. boyfriend stay sunday night and left when i left monday morning. poor thing is never up that early. so it was a great weekend and i miss him bunches already.
