Back to work...
So it is the Monday after Thanksgiving Day. The Monday after "Black Friday". Also known as "Cyber-Monday" due to the people buying stuff on-line.
To me....better known as the day people realize it is really Monday again and they have to get to work. Like the person I saw on the way into work today. 50-60 through a 35 mph school zone. Almost swerves into a curb to avoid hitting a school bus. Cuts across an unpaved section of roadway to enter freeway traffic faster. Basically drives like an imbecile or a drunk. People like that need to lose their licenses...and their cars. So you are late for work...get over it. Driving like that has a highly increased chance that you will never make it into work at all!
Funny thing is, I got up at my usual time today --- and somehow managed to still make it out of the house and to work 10 minutes before I needed to be there. Maybe I took a faster shower than normal? Maybe I was just better prepared for getting going in the morning than usual. I even had a chance to eat breakfast!!! Woot! lol!
So, for the sake of all the little kiddies on school buses everywhere, for Pete's sake, drive like a sane person!!! And actually wake up in time next time!
