The absence, livejournal can damage your vision, more Germany, but finally end of school! (or?)

Hello most lovely and dearest f-list! ♥
Scarily huge update from me *faints*...

I've now finally conquered the skip=220 flist I had this morning *faints* (with the exception of SIX lomonaaeren chapter updates I have yet to read - that's what happens when you follow all her 4 amazing WiPs). I've almost only buried myself in livejournal today (except a shopping trip to exchange money to Euro and get the final stuff for my trip, and preforming to the seniors graduation with the school choir at my gymnasium), so I'm quite square eyed, even if you don't count my new glasses. Yep - I began thinking I had a little trouble reading the teachers tiny scrawl on the blackboard, so I got my vision checked. It isn't bad, at all, but it will get worse with time. I'll probably need to get new lenses in 2 or 3 years or so. But I'm really happy about them, because we (my mother and I) managed to find a pair that suits me really well :D I kind of prefer my face with glasses than without them now, and I've only had them for about 2½ weeks. The funny thing is the reason for my sort of sudden need for vision aid. It has never troubled me before, but, in a roundabout way, the woman at the optician's told me that I've dug my own grave, so to speak. I need glasses because I read so much fanfiction! No kidding! She said that because I do a lot some porn reading work with my eyes close to something (a laptop screen or book for example), my eyes get used to the close distance and have therefore grown lacking in seeing things from a longer distance, they get more blurry. Ergo, a sick amount of fanfiction a day for a good year equals need for visual aid. *sigh* Oh, well, it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make ;b

So, the reason for my before mentioned large flist has been my end of year tests and my math exam especially. But I'd say it has been worth it. I scored the highest possible grade in math, YAY, but I worked for it, so I deserved it *nods*, but I will admit I was kind of lucky to draw the easiest question possible :b My social studies end of year test is another matter entirely. We had 24 hours to prepare a presentation based on some material/articles the teacher had found and then deliver it in the best possible way. Personally I have some discipline troubles, so I started kind of late in the day, and then I totally collapsed emotionally in the evening; couldn't work one bit and I almost drew blood from my mother. Figuratively that is, because when I'm in a bad mood I like to compare myself with a cactus; anyone who gets near gets AUCH (again, not violently, simply emotional and verbal abuse ;b). Anyway, I ended up sleeping 1½ hours and only spent about 4 focused hours working on the presentation *headdesk*. I went to the test prepared to die. I was quite surprised, to say the LEAST, when I ended up with praises from the teachers and the top grade %b Not that I'm complaining XD That was last Monday, and now school is over and I finally have some spare time... or so I thought...

This Sunday EARLY morning (have to be up and ready for a car to pick me up at 7 am), I'm headed for Germany - again. To learn more German. Again. But this time it's for 2 weeks! But it's going to be awesome! :D I'll live with a family down there in a town called Beeskow, close to Berlin. I signed myself up for it and I'm really looking forward to it, but we have to attend school everyday *faints* except for the weekend of cause. I'm going to bring my laptop, but I have no guarantee for Internet access. I slightly fear coming home to a skip=14 days flist and the amount of reading I'll have to catch up on. But alas, I really hope it will be a great experience and help me raise my grades in German. But, unlike last time, I won't be staying with a girl, but a boy. I'm excited and a little nervous to see what kind of type he is. On the plus side, it heightens the chances for my own room ^_^ The last name of the family is Buch (book), so it can't go all wrong, can it? *grins*

Other random stuff I've been doing lately:
- watched the entire season of Merlin in 3 days.
- watched scarily many episodes of the Anime 'One Piece'.
- been to the cinama to watch Drag Me To Hell with friend.
- walked a lot and seen awesome statues by the beach with other fabulous friend.

Stuff I need to do:
- read.
- PACK! Argh! I'm going in about *counts* 32 hours and I haven't even made a list! *faints*

Wish me luck dearest f-list, I'll miss you terribly! *huggles and love all around* ♥
