Got to see Alcian Blue, just got back, and I can say honestly never been this deaf EVER post a show. The Offering put some time in on Tuesday for practice, as Hodge didn't dj with me. The Offering put on quite an awesome performance, and it's the first time in a while, where they were the quiet band. Truly think again they are coming into form as Soundfest approaches. Music for Headphones had some cool guitar sounds, reminded me a lot of early Verve, meets Slowdive, meets October era U2, however unfortunate I didn't dig the rest of the band. Then the night was set for Alcian Blue, mainly new stuff, with a Slowdive cover and Angelica Take Me Down in the set. I can honestly say, hands down, this was the loudest show I've ever heard, I actually hear static in my right ear at the moment, of course with the ringing. However, still wish I could have had my homeslice there with me. This however is another issue to think about after a good night's sleep and quite when I'm a bit more with it...
To all a goodnight
