Hey if your interested in reading something "unusual"
I am currently reading, "The Heart is Deceitful Above All Things", by "JT LeRoy". It is a collection of short stories about a boy named Jeremiah. It's quite obvious the child is being abused. I won't get into graphic detail about the stories so far, because you might not read it if I tell you.
These short stories have been adapted to a screenplay and was a limited release to theaters back in March. The DVD will be released on 6/6/06 (Satan!!!). The movie features Marilyn Manson, and judging by the quote in the movie trailer on iTunes he's going to be playing a character named Jackson. If this is true is going to live up the shock he so wants to be idoled for, because as to what I've read so far, this is without a shadow of a doubt the most disturbing character in the book. If any of them aren't disturbing. I'm currently on pg 187, and will probably be finished with it by the end of the school day today, so if your interested in reading it, let me know and I'll bring it to Chords tonight.
