Well, decided after waking up with quite the cough on Sunday morning that I have smoked my last cigarette. Last night was quite a hellish sleep, which I found quite awkward because I was drowsy all day yesterday. Even though I'm a little cloudy in the head from the withdrawl, I find that the small bit of cardio I did yesterday, plus not smoking made it a lot easier to breathe. Today I'm already able to add some speed into my jog, and my back hurts less. I think that is because when you don't smoke, blood actually gets where it needs to be. Other good selfish news, I continue to see improvements in my muscle tone, it's not quite as fast as when I first started but I guess I was shedding a little bit of belly fat and water weight. I have put more resistance into the nordic track to strengthen the legs a little more, as well as stepping up the weights. Of course the mental aspects of working out are still there, I'm still in a much better mood than I was before I was working out. I also have a certain reason to have a buzz, but I'm not saying a word... however I have quite a good reason to have the glow people say I'm beeming. So I think it's going to be quite the good week for this guy.
