The Hand of Fate writing on the sand...
Things are winding down towards the end for myself and ole UVa-Wise. Two more days of class, then finals. Just hang on, man, just hang on... I'm supposed to get some kind of award(s) at the little dinner thing the night before graduation. Go me.
The job search is going as well as I can expect it to, I believe. NCH is supposed to have a decision sometime early next week, I believe. Actually, a decision was already supposed to be made, but the assistant controller ended up in the hospital, so the decision was postponed for a while. I interviewed with Farmer's and Miner's Bank today about a management training program. It actually has me quite excited. I think I might like it better because there would be so much more contact with other people, as opposed to being in a cubicle for 8 or 9 hours each day. Also, their main reason for looking for someone for this is because of the Clintwood branch, which is like 10 minutes away from the house. The branch manager and assistant manager are gonna retire in a few years, so they want to bring someone up through that program to fill the void. The only downside is that most of my training would be done in Pennington Gap. I'd likely end up moving out to Wise or maybe a little beyond until my training is complete, although they said some of the training COULD be done in Clintwood. Either way, I'm really interested in it.
I absolutely could not believe what happened on LOST last night!!! Damn you, Michael!!! The episode was fairly slow moving, and then at the end, BOOM. Michael kills Anna Lucia, Libby, and shoots himself in the arm. Either he's framing Henry for it to piss everyone else off so they'll go after the "others" with him, or he's become one of the "others" and is luring the survivors out into a trap. I would bet on the latter, myself. At least for now haha. He might jump ship again before it's all said and done.
