I have been battling an abscess in my tooth for some time now, and it has recently decided to get worse.

My upper jaw started hurting about a month ago, which was referred pain from an abscess in a tooth in my lower jaw. My regular dentist, who is the most awesome dentist in the world if anyone needs a referral, drilled into it to release the ( Read more... )

I sympathize, as my top left wisdom tooth is coming in and currently making life a small slice of hell. Hope your teefs get better soon!

I know exactly what you're going through, the nights of laying there just hoping it will stop long enough for you to pass out. The nausea, the weakness, and I was getting really bad ear aches for a while too. I am so happy I'm on my way to getting my mouth fixed. I've only got 14 more appointments to go.

i remember when i had my abscess under one of my teeth. They just decided to remove it via pliers. Thankfully it wasnt a permanent tooth.. But it left a nice empty hole in my mouth for.. a year i think. A nice stainless steel spacer holding the space open made a great place for food to get stuck -_-

but i still think yours sounds worse
