I am surprisingly not stressed out lately.
School is going well, though I am only taking three classes this semester. I had originally planned to take five and I could have probably handled the course load had my history teacher not been psychotic and forced our online class to take part in ridiculous discussions online everyday. I dropped that class... and also French 1. The book for French was 280 dollars. Almost the cost of taking the class.
Helllll no.
So currently I'm taking Painting I which is awesome, Enameling II, which is also awesome, and Fundamentals of Acting, which has promise to be awesome.
I have never used paint in a way that didn't involve building sets before. It's pretty exciting to have a whole new medium to play with.
Enameling II is infinitely superior to Enameling I. Knowing what I'm doing and not having to wait on every other person to learn is awesome. We all basically work at our own pace. We are doing a metalsmithing project, but everyone is doing something different and going at their own speed. It's very rare that I get excited to go to class. I'll post pictures of my pieces sometime soon.
Otherwise things just generally seem to be falling into place. I miss people a lot but it's nice to see Van and Greg more.
I've been missing Alex a lot lately too. We keep trying to plan to see each other but stuff bombs a lot. I'll see him soon, since I have his boxers though.
Anyway... off to class!
