I bought a scale.. turns out I weigh less than I though.. no idea if that is due to the week long extreme diet I've already been on.. so the magic number is 303.. I was expecting worse..
I added a workout routine to my diet starting today.. thanks "the biggest loser" ...oh and for the record, I hate the people on that dvd... nothing like watching people smiling while doing cardio while you are straight up about to die.. I will probably regret every minute of that workout I'm the morning...
honestly, I decided to take on this task for this week because the wife is out of town.. this gives me a few days to really buckle down and work on some pound shedding.. hopefully she will notice a big change when she comes home at the end of the week..
I know what you all are thinking.. big changes don't happen that fast.. well, I'm out to prove statistics wrong.. ;-) ...I belive that with the right attitude and the drive and determination all barriers can be broken...
I went on an extreme diet in high school once... I was trying to get down to 210 so I could join the US Air Force.. I dropped 10 lbs. per week for almost a month... and I gave up when the recruiter stopped returning my calls... his name (for sake of the story) was Gerard Kenler... after about 6 months, I put on every pound I had lost.. and then some... but, that failed because I was trying for the wrong reasons... now I'm doing it for me...
if I can achieve similar resultant this time around, I should reach my goal in at least 3months... but, if it takes longer, I won't let that discourage me.. there is so much to be gained by this drastic lifestyle change ... and besides, I want to be an inspiration to my family.. someone that they can be proud of.. I already have to look back at the pictures from the past year and see a 300+ lb. man with my wife and son.. I don't want to see that same image in years to come...
my biggest fear is that if I don't make a change, then I may pass my poor eating habits on to my little one.. and I would never be able to forgive myself if that were the case..
I will weigh each Saturday and post the results on here.. hopefully they will be impressive and consistent.. I may even start uploading pics if I think the change is noticeable..
wish me luck! this is a huge undertaking.. I've had doubts in the past, but there is no room for them this time around.
