So, NY

Saturday

Yeah...so I got up at 5:45am on Saturday morning to head over to the bus. Ugh...too early...especially after staying up so late Friday->Saturday night.

I arose, changed, and packed (go late packing).

Then got picked up and went down there.
4 hour ride to NY with some cool people - some annoying people.

We arrived there, unpacked (rooms weren't ready of course).

Took the bus to Central Park, walked around. Oh yeah, Jeff & Kayla's uncle came with us too and he works in the music department of Wagner, if I remember his depot. correctly. It was pretty sweet...since that school's rather high on my list.

Walked around there, went to the Strawberry Fields memorium...place (I dunno what to call it). Then walked around to Time Sq., then to a Street Fair where I got a sweet Hendrix image made in, I think, Cray Pas, for $6.

Then went to the Mariott and accidentally went to The View (a restaurant on the 48th floor) instead of the 44th floor, which is just rooms...but you can see straight down to like...the third or fourth floor. So we went in, tried to find our way out by avoiding the elevator for a few floors to not get in trouble for just entering the restaurant and leaving (they don't like you to do that), and failed. So we went in and got drinks. The cool part of that restaurant is that the seating area spins really slowly, making 1 full rotation every hour...so you see like...all of The View. Pretty sweet, but expensive.

Then went to Planet Hollywood to eat, that was pretty cool. Then walked to The Empire (*cue The Imperial March*) State Building. Went up to the 86th floor ('cause it's over twice as expensive to go up to the top), and looked around. At one point, someone threw a paper airplane off and it caught a major updraft and stayed airborn in sight for like...over a minute, then went up higher and landed on a higher level of the building.

Then we went back home, really tired and wanting to sleep. So, walked back, talked with MacKenzie (band's drummer) & his g/f for at least 15 minutes, then his dad came looking for them, angry...and I ditched them before he saw me...then I realized that was a stupid idea and I should have stayed. I felt bad.

Then Jeff and I played Jedi Academy, then watched random, funny videos, then slept.

Sunday

Awoke at 7:00 because our room's adult leader set the alarm for then, but set it to radio...talk radio...and he didn't wake up. He didn't until Jeff started coughing loudly to awake him. Took him like...at least 10-15 minutes. Now, we didn't have to be anywhere until 7:30, so we were taking advantage of being able to get changed in 5 minutes...so adult got in the bathroom and spent like...another 10 minutes in there.

So we finally get up, I change, but Jeff's shampoo had exploded in his bag and spent like...8 minutes cleaning it, making us late & the girls mad at us...but w/e. Ate at the Tick-Tock diner, went to the room to pack.
On the schedule, it said that we were meeting the bus at 9:30, so we expected a while...but NOOOO...they called at like 9:13 saying that we were meeting at 9:15 to wait until 9:30 for the bus to leave...
So we packed up quick and left.

Then arrived at the church, set up, and rehersed twice. Got my lines down...enough. Then sat through the service - much more interactive and fun than here, even though I rarely go. The 2 hours went by quickly, even though I was fading in and out of sleep.

Then we ate lunch with them and left for home. Slept most of the way. Since I'm a really light sleeper, I awoke often (maybe once every 30 minutes...sometimes more often, sometimes less). But it felt really good.

Somehow I always manage to wake up like...at least 3 minutes before we pull into the rest stop or home...on like every trip I've been on. Which is pretty cool.

Anyways, got home, said bye...and YG had recently let out, so I said hi to Dan and Jenna, then talked more, said byes, then home and now it's now. The end.
