This is why I love Buffalo

Mighty Taco, Bison Dip, Tops, Wilson Farms (French Vanilla Caps), Tim Horton's, Canada, Niagara River, Niawanda Park, Hyde Park, Zion Lutheran Church, Family, Friends, Tops, Wegmans. These are a few reaons why I love Buffalo.

Friday I got out of work at noon, and it was pretty stupid for me to be there, but I got paid for it just the same. Jason met me at my car, and we started our long weekend from there. We got some Subway for lunch and Jason finally bought a car charger for his phone, and then we hit the road. I think we only stopped twice, and Jason drove until we got to Clarence. Then we stopped at Petsmart to surprise my mom with two new Betta fish since hers died, and of course got Mighty Taco on the way home. We were exhausted after we ate, so we went to bed. The next morning, we went to NT DPW to see Jason's grandpa, bringing Tim Horton's of course. Then we stopped at Jason's mom's and my cousin's house. After stopping at the ATM and getting a card for Don and Gerry and some other needed things at Target, we headed back to my mom's and got ready for the wedding. While Jason was waiting for me to finish up he got us some cappucino's from Wilson Farms and got me some Bison dip. Then we went to Don's house, and I drove Rachel to the wedding while Jason walked because he ended up taking pictures during the ceremony. I sat in the front row with Don's kids. The wedding ceremony was much longer than ours, and we were heathens and did not go up for communion but it was beautiful. The reception was also great. The food was great, so was the alcohol, and Gerry and Don were so happy, which was what was most important. After the reception (which was at the Buffalo Yacht Club, by the way), we headed up to Fort Erie, Canada with the Hojoes. We ended up getting a room at the Holiday Inn as soon as we got there because we were going to go out and we knew neither of us would want to drive home. We walked to The Plaice, and had a really good time. John and Marie had their pitcher of beer, I had a few Smirnoff Ice's, Jason had a couple of mixed drinks and everyone had some shots. John really wanted some chicken wings, but in the end I think Marie was more ecstatic about them than John. We all went home, and we were in bed by like 1:50 am. 6:38 am rolled around, I took a quick shower and we headed back across the border. Our ridiculously busy Sunday had begun. A little while before 8am we met Jason's grandpa again, and we went to breakfast at Nestor's in NT. Then we went back to my mom's for a little over an hour nap. Church started at 11, then we went to see my grandma with my mom, then we went to DQ, then stopped at my mom's to pick up some stuff we forgot about, then we saw my aunt and my grandpa, then Jason's dad, then Grandma Dotts, the Glover's, and Aunt Barbara, Uncle Jim and Matt, then Jason's brother and John and Emily, then quickly to Jason's mom's before going to Linda's for a BBQ. We were only there for a few minutes before we headed to Anderson's, and when we came back we saw pictures of Gary and Linda's trip to Japan. Some people started to leave, but we stayed for a little bit, but not too late. I think we were in bed at my mom's by a little after 11. Jason finally woke me up on Monday morning at 9am, and we got ready, got the car packed, went to Jason's dad's again, Tops where we ran into Gert, Colette, and Jessica (and Jason saw Jake and Savannah Jo without me!!!), and then we made one more stop at Mighty Taco. I started the drive, and I stopped in Williamsport. I made really good time (Jason was sleeping and couldn't yell at me about speeding). Then Jason took over and we started listening to hip hop and analyzing the lyrics and the lives of hip hop artists. Jason researched some stuff after he came back from Korea, lol, so he was telling me all about it. We stopped at Target on the way home, and we were actually in our apartment by 820, which was great timing. We also started talking about getting bikes, and we need to talk to the Hojoe's about what kinds are good but I'm not going to say that we're going to call them because we always forget, lol. Right now, I am being really productive but alas, I have to work at 1 so I have to get ready to go through the dogs. I love my new job but I'm kind of dreading it because one of the managers is insane and I feel like I'm going to be there forever but I really won't. I'll actually be coming in during naptime! Yay! Okay must go.... more later.
