End of the Semester Hype
Friday I called in sick to work. Yuck! But things are soooo much better now, so I am very happy about that. Saturday I was off, and I was exhausted from all the ridiculous hours that I've been working lately so I didn't get as much done as I wanted to. I did do a fair amount of homework. Jason and I play Sorry in the evening, and I won! I never win at board games against my husband so that's exciting. Yesterday we got up around 8 and did some things until I had to leave for work which started at 11. Francis and Ruth Ann were there when I got there, but then Ruth Ann got the phone call that her daughter went into labor and Francis went home sick. So I conned Glenn into coming over from Men's, and David never showed up so we needed Pearl's help too. Crazy! I had to leave before the store closed because my shift ended at 5 and since they've been taking advantage of my reliability I really needed all the time I could get at home to do my homework. Jason made dinner for us when I came home. It was pretty yummy. He is so much better at cooking now! Then I did most of my homework and we watched the Simpsons and Family Guy. I started thinking about my dad, and how he used to get us Dairy Queen and how I hadn't been to one in a really long time. The closest one here is in Odenton, so we drove out there to get there 3 mins after closing! Jason thought that they closed at 930 but it was 9. So we stopped at Baskin Robbins on the way home, I finished my homework and then we went to bed. This is today's agenda: shower, breakfast, working on labs/ studying for the final, calling to get my fingerprints done for my new job application, going to work from 10-4, bio review session from 6-9, bio lab final from 9-10, coming home and revising a paper.
