Oh January....
I've been so busy lately! I started working in the shoe department at JC Penney in Annapolis last Thursday, and I've been really busy. They sometimes schedule me to be there for 9 hours and with an hour for lunch it's just an eight hour shift. But it takes about a half hour to get there and I like to leave early so it turns into being gone for nearly 11 hours. I missed Jason this weekend, because he had a four day pass and I had to work every day except Sunday, but he was very productive in the apartment with stuff I usually have to do and then some. I know he missed me too but he got to have some time by himself, so that was good. Sunday Jason and I went out with Kyle and Jen to Dave and Busters at Arundel Mills. Kyle's 27 I guess so that's how I ended up there. We bowled one game, and ate lunch there. Then Kyle left and we stopped at home to drop off Jason and show Jen our still messy apartment. Then we headed to David's Bridal in Bowie to get my dress fitted. Jen's the only one who knows how to put my dress on me so she's volunteered to do that for the wedding. After that, I wanted to go some place else. There were a few things I needed at Target, but Jason called while I was checking out at David's Bridal, and volunteered to go take care of that for me. So me and Jen headed to Ikea, and we figured out what my centerpieces are going to be. I change the idea a little bit. I still need to figure out how I'm going to get ahold of 30 white pillar candles that are like 3"- 8" for them though. They had the perfect square shape candles at IKEA but they only had like 6. They had tons of off-white pillars but that doesn't help. The candle sticks did not help either. There were a few white pillars but they were too small for the size of the mirrors. So alas, I will take any help I can get. But anyway, besides that, work has taken my mind off of my dad and grandpa, though now my grandmother may be very ill. We will find out more today, because she goes to the doctor. I just want to be able to have some time to study, that's what I'm worried about, although it doesn't matter because my semester does not start until next week. By the way, I have not been able to get my shower info out to everyone from Brockport, so I apologize.
