Up in the morning.
Ok so I just got out of my first history test that almost ate me alive. But I managed to live through it, somehow... I just hope my grade turns out in the B range haha.
So it's been a while since I last updated. Well there isn't much going on with my life, what can I say? I live in a town that is all dead, has nothing to do, and always smells like cow poop... what a wonderful life!
Things are just happening here. Slowly but surely, the days are trickling down towards the end of this damn place. I can't wait. It's now 30 days till I come home again, I cannot wait! Gah I just want to sleep in, go skiing and hang out with everyone again. After break, its a little over a week that I will find out that I'm accepted to the Academy, that is as long as I keep my grades up haha. I'm doing good though, I should stay above the 3.0 range, I just have to quit being lazy and study.. easier said then done though.
On the plus side, tonight the real man from Hotel Rwanda, the movie about the Genocide of 1994 in Rwanda, is coming here. No not the actor, the real man, Mr. Rusesabagina himself. He's giving a speech to the corp tonight that should be pretty good. However, the part that is making my entire week, month, and overall NMMI experience, is getting a chance to meet him personally. I managed to get myself into the dinner reception with him before the speech. I am so excited for it! The chance to meet a man who has done so much for so many people is incredible. Totally worth my time here. I plan on getting a photo with him and maybe a autograph haha. Cheesy i Know.
Anyway, I should probably pay attention in Chemistry now. I'm sitting in class on my labtop haha. I never do though, I can't stand lecture, I never learn anything from it. I always get everything from when I read and do the hw.... oh well
