My brother and I had an idea the other day that I'd like to follow through on. Since I have nothing but free time on my hands lately what with our asshole district manager cutting our hours, I thought maybe I could host some movie marathons at my place if people are interested. We'd tackle only movies that are part of a series or we'd watch individual movies that fit into a common theme. Here are some marathon ideas:
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy
The Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy
The Matrix Trilogy
The Indiana Jone Trilogy
The Star Wars saga
The Spider-Man trilogy
Kill Bill vol.1 and 2
The El Mariachi trilogy
The Ocean's trilogy
The Bourne Trilogy
The Godfather trilogy
28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later
The Living Dead series
The Evil Dead trilogy
Ghostbusters 1 and 2
Clerks 1 and 2
Underworld and Underworld: Evolutions
The Resident Evil trilogy (when Extinction comes out on DVD)
The Harry Potter series
The Hannibal Lectar movies (not Manhunter though, good God not Manhunter)
Like I said, we can also just watch movie with common themes like movies based on comic books so that leave us open for a night possibly of watching V for Vendetta, Batman Begins, The Punisher, Sin City or any other movies that are based on comics. We could do a serial killer night and watch From Hell, Se7en, The Zodiac, Mr.Brooks and so on.
