I just had to sit through over 8 hours of orientation for my job, most of which doesn't apply to me because A) I'm part-time, and B) I'm still under my parents' insurance until I turn 25. At least I got paid for it. At least I have a stylish ID badge that opens doors for me with a wave of my hand.
I've been told lately by several women in their 30s that they find me attractive ("you look like John Mayer's younger brother", "I love your hair", "that's a nice looking shirt on you"). Is this just random complements from people? Are older women more open with complements? Am I somehow attractive to women in their 30s, but not ladies my own age? Sigh. There are so many things I will never understand.
I want to kill my parents a little bit more every day. But I won't, because I need their money yet for some time.
