I'm feeling a little isolated these days. Mostly because I'm terrified of getting the flu. When I get sick, I get really sick. I just don't fancy having to deal with missing work.... making phone calls to get a replacement, only to have to go in anyway - no one ever helps out.
And inevitably, the children will get sick. Peter might be down for a day or two, but he usually skirts by these little events. The kids will stagger their illnesses so as not to overlap, but rest assured that my bought with the flu will last as long as all of theirs put together. Sigh.
Please don't let me get sick. The wipes are in my purse, along with tissue.... at least we'll have clean hands and noses.
