I'm not known for reading great literature. In the past, most of my books have had two common words in the title: Star Wars. Thankfully that stage has passed. I haven't given up on a book before, but I have given up on a series (especially if they are constantly switching authors). I'm much more tolerant of really bad movies, and never walked out or turned one off. Fallen asleep? Yes, frequently if the movie does not hold my interest. A clerk at a video store tried his best to discourage me from renting one particular Dolph Lundgren classic.
