I guess that makes sense. I do love my AUs. I think my results might have been skewed by the fact that I act differently in different fandoms. I tend to favor canon-compliant in HP (or at least AU in very canon-y ways). I'm more willing to think outside the box for Marvel stuff and am much more likely to ignore canon I don't like because the creators do it all the time.
