i took salem on a really long walk yesterday evening to lafontaine park. we walked all the way to the baseball diamonds, and there were two games going on: a hardball teenage boys' game, and a softball mixed league young adult game. i wish i had softball games to go to. i watched for an inning and a half, but then i got kinda sad and wistful so i left and brought salem to the dog-run. i really miss playing softball. i wish i knew how i could have signed up to play on that mixed league. then at least i wouldn't be stuck at home wishing i was playing softball all the time. and i would get exercise. why do i suck?
