The Life of a Sim

I'm not one to go all weak at the knees at computer games. Really, I'm not. I'm surrounded by them every single day, and 99% of the time, when a new game comes out, for either PC or console, I shrug my shoulders and carry on with whatever it is I was doing before.

However, let me go on record as saying: The Sims 2 - OMG!!!111!!!!! Best gaem EVAR!

I swear, this is the most fun game I've ever bought, and it was definately worth every penny. After creating a 'test' family, called the Kingfishs' (consisting of Geoffrey, Barbara, and their daughter Anna-Maria, who apparently 'looks Catholic') were created, and I soon ran out of cash by giving them a kitchen, I re-evaluated the situation, left them to sit, and made me.

That's right. I have a Sim likeness. Actually, likeness isn't much of a misnomer, as Sims 2 gives the single best "create a character" feature I've ever seen. After dispatching myself into a little...well, hovel would be a nice way to describe it, I set about giving my Sim the basics. When he was hungry, I ordered a pizza, and ended up scoring a kiss from the pizza delivery girl. After that, I met some of my neighbours (including Geoff Kingfish) and the next day, after planting a 'Money Tree', I threw a party. I was dancing like a pro with some girl called Nina, when she excused herself. I helped myself to some pizza, and zoomed out....Nina stole some money from the tree!

Bitch.

I had only been playing for 30 minutes or so, but I had been sucked in, 100%, by the gameplay. It's a shame I've taken all the holiday time I can for this year, as I could quite happily take some more days off just to play.

Which reminds me, I need to buy an alarm clock, as my Sim has a job as a golf caddy. Later!
