Jai peered into the cage of the bright yellow canary he had bought just days before. He made kissing noises at it and it chirped and sang and bounced happily along it's perch. It was a very content little creature, considering it's life was inside this compact room with naught to look forward to everyday than food and water. But it was happy, and Jai hoped it could make him happy too.
He loved LA, there was no question. Since his move from New York City he had made some great new friends, got his music careet underway, and had really been enjoying his free time. True, he missed doing the show, and the oppratunities for performing in NYC that were present nowhere else, but he was adjusting. And he could go back anytime he wanted. LA had plenty to offer.
There was one thing that LA didn't have however. The one thing that clung to a part of his heart. He could wander through all sections of town, go in every store and restaraunt he could find, make so many new friends he'd forget their names. But LA didn't have Thom, and that's what kept him looking out his window every night.
