It turns out that I'll be going to Saudi Arabia for a quick trip in September. Just for a couple of days to meet with the directors and shizzle over there.
BUT....
Those few days happens to be when Steely Dan is playing in Perth! What?? How could this happen?? I missed the Doobie Brothers last year because I was away for work, and now I even have tickets already, but they're sending me away?????!!!
V. NOT HAPPY! (at least I've been assured of 5.5 star Kuwaiti hotel accommodation by the project manager by way of consolation, but I think I deserve a trip to Dubai thrown in as well...)
I'm going to see The Police next Feb. Heaven help anyone who tries to send me away on that date!
