I love reading classics, those old, old old novels, that still hold true to this day. I am currently reading satyricon, it was written in about 50 AD and it still holds true to this day. Some parts are out there, and you have to stretch to hold them true, but some parts are incredible. Trimalchios dinner, where he says this will be like my funeral, i'm going to lay down here dead, and you are going to all stand around and say nice things about me.

It's heartening to see that. The romans, didnt have any clue what was after death, they didnt have a religion that followed it. So what happened after death was something that couldnt be controlled.

So he says say nice things about me. I find it incredibly appealing because I want to know what people will say after my death. I mean i can face someone and ask them to tell me what they would say at my death, they would obviously say, he was such a nice guy, yadda yadda yadda, or be sarcastic and say i'm a hag, and i sucked at living maybe i dont suck so much at death, because i'm Dead.

So when my back is turned, it's a scary feeling to not know what people think. and it's even scarier to not be able to control death. however it happens to all.

Good stuff.
