the show
ok so thurs night i went to a show in anaheim at chain reaction
i went to go see funeral for a friend and a thorn for every heart
there were also 2 other bands that opened up for them
the first band, the break, was pretty good
we were in the front
(i went with 4 of my friends from school)
and the lead singer kept staring into our eyes as he sang
i couldnt keep a straight face so i smiled back at him
the next band, no warning, was from canada
they looked pretty cool but when they started to play i was not ready at all
a bunch of huge guys rushed the stage
a big pit opened and they proceeded to run up and jump on my shoulders to try to sing with the band
my friend dale and i would just throw them off everytime they did it
after a few of these unwanted piggy back rides i realized i was fighting a losing battle
so i moved over to the side while the apes played a derranged game of red rover
ramming the crowd on either side
at one point the lead singer stomped the crowd
he jumped off the stage and instead of stage diving he went in feet first
yeah not cool
in between no warning and a thorn for every heart we met some other people from cal poly
a thorn for every heart was very good
all the apes from no warning must have left bc the crowd was much more enjoyable
funeral for a friend was awesome
thats pretty much all i have to say about them
theyre from the uk so for them to travel to the states was cool
they said they were going to come back to the states
they were surprised we knew the words to their songs
great show
one of the best i've been to
my ears are still ringing though
it should go away though soon i hope
my gf is in las vegas this weekend for a wedding
we were thinking about going up to the mountains before she remembered she was leaving
oh well theres plenty of time
lots of snow up there
its been raining constantly down here
well im going to be doing hw all day
i want to actually get it done early
