I'm always reminded...
Right now I'm reading the book of Acts, and really trying to look for details and ideas that I've missed in my many years of being a Christian...and last night I was reading Acts chapter 3 and a simple and obvious concept just completely jumped out at me! God really used Peter in huge ways! Peter is a figure in the Bible that I feel I can really relate to. There have been times in my life where I have been very prideful and well...full of talk! But when it comes time to back my "talk" up with actions I coward away...Peter did that...there are times when I'm scared out of my mind because of what people might think of me if I share my faith...it can be a very nerve racking experience...Peter felt that...and as I was reading this passage I saw how God really used him in HUGE ways despite his faults! God used Peter to heal people, preach to people and God chose Peter to "build my church on" (Matthew 16:18). It just gave me some encouragment, and I hope it encourages you as well! I hope everyone has a wonderful/restful/safe 3 day weekend! I love you guys! I miss you FBC Youth!
