Snow - The Empire Strikes Back
I left work a little later than normal yesterday, hoping traffic would die down a little. That's because I went out at 5:45pm to start my car and measured 7" of new snow on the hood with a ruler...
The night before, all they said was southern KY counties would get snow, so I figured we might get a little. Yesterday morning on the way in, they started saying we might get 2-3". All day it was flurries, nothing major or sticking. About 2pm it started, and boy did it start. But I made it home in about 2hrs, including a lay-over at White Castles for food. Figured I wouldn't be home till 9pm, might as well eat.
I've been stuck in worse. A few years ago, just before Xmas, it snowed pretty hard. I finally left at 3pm, and got home at 11:30pm! Normally a 40-45min drive...
