so...I got hired in tampa to work as an EMT to begin with and then a paramedic in a few weeks! Annnd then the next day i went and put 300$ on a really sweet house. I'll be living with 3 other peeps, but i don't mind at all because the place is really really sweet.
how sweet? let me explain:
1. There's no tv...but there is a movie projection screen paired with surround sound and 3 leather couches
2. Pool Table
3. Basketball Hoop
4. Grill
5. Two boats and two jet ski's of which the owner says i can use at any time
6. House is on a lake
7. There is an separate garage-ish type thing in the back, remodeled into a 7 stool bar and equipped with two mounted keg taps and keg-arators, and a whole bunch of space to party in (mind you this is separate from the house, so there isn't any noise transfer during the party)
8. There are no key's to the house. Instead the owner opted to install a finger-print locking device. It scans my thumb and the door opens. how sweet is that?
Plus, the dude that owns it (he lives there as well) mentioned that he doesnt have a lawn mower. Well, i happen to own a lawnmower. So he told me he'll take off 25$ a month off rent if i bring it up there and let him use it.
He also found out that i play guitar, and offered another 25$ a month off rent if i teach him how to play.
Annnywayz, i'm stoked and i move out monday. Hope everyone is doing swell :)
