His beard looks even more adorably fluffy up close, nowhere near the fierce warrior affectation he must imagine he is cultivating.

Oh dear god. She's thinking "what a cute little boy he is". She's going *maternal* over Ronon. Who knows how he would interpret *that*.

But she can see to it that he gets more help, more practical help, in dealing with his loss.

Is she going to try sending his to Heighmeyer the shrink? That'd be... hilariously messy.

Or is she going to allow him to *date*, with the idea that he needs to find one woman to settle with, and boy, isn't THAT directive going to confuse him -- 'just spend time with the women, getting to know them. Find one you want to stay with, and *don't* sleep with anyone until then.'

Hee hee! You figured out the part that's going ot be most important later on.

Is she going to try sending his to Heighmeyer the shrink? That'd be... hilariously messy.

AND you've anticipated the next "chapter"

Maybe more effort will give better results? krisreinke July 15 2010, 04:32:01 UTC
Maybe Ronon thinks that she means he should keep working at one woman until he *gets it right*.

After all, the Atlantian day can mess up schedules - biological included.

So Ronon may think it is a test/deadline to see if he is really fertile?

You posted... with Elizabeth, even! so mine is a happy breakfast [purrs]

I mean, THIS:
We had a little talk, re: porn. She wouldn't have it. At least not here. Although I did manage to negotiate something for the future. She's tough. I should have gotten her drunk first.

and then, THIS:
Actually, he had said "Serious tension among my men. The men who are women. Tension among my women. The women who are my troops. Not my women. But, also, the men as well, with the (and an almost Rodney-like arm gesture here) jealousy."

Anthro!crack is pretty much the best crack there is (without getting into penguin!crack or icedancing!crack or the other variant types that would be cheating were this not SGA) and well, please, ma'am, any time you have more... [sighs hopefully]

Good job writing Elizabeth! I absolutely can't write her, myself.

Is there a reason Ronon's women never go back for a second night? I mean, after some time, he'd just naturally get a reputation as "That guy who only ever does one-night-stands", but at the beginning, some might have wanted a repeat performance. And Ronon wouldn't exactly turn them down, would he?

"Serious tension among my men. The men who are women. Tension among my women. The women who are my troops. Not my women. But, also, the men as well, with the (and an almost Rodney-like arm gesture here) jealousy."

*laughs* Poor John. This conversation must be hell for him.

Smartquotes, eew. I can't seem to get rid of them, either, and I always only remember how they fuck up my html after I've hit post. Cue frantic editing before people see the story.

By the way, you might want to put a spoiler warning for whatever episode you're referring to here.

(For some reason, I first managed to post this as a response to a comment. Sorry.)

Ahh - good tip - thank you, I did.

I'm not positive, but I sort of think that no - no one ever gets seconds. Because really like ten seconds after it's over and the girl has had the loudest longest messiest screaming orgasm of her life, he is out of bed, totally calm, collecting his clothes and leaving. I actually think that the first few women were kind of horrified and felt a little dumb - like they did somehting wrong. Until word got around. And he's so nice during the lead up, and always basically polite after that - and he never gossips...I imagine, around the 10th time, the ladies of Atlantis just decided to go with the flow.

Also, attmpts to change up his routine have been terrible failures. (see, Sally and the blowjob)

also, think about the Terrible Emotional Toll on Ronon, who desperately wants to be asked back by someone, but won't ask himself, because it's not his place.

Women on Sateda might have to have sex with the youngest and strongest, but they might have their own husbands or wives that they want to go back to, so it's not uncommon to have sex with someone and then leave right after. But the women on Atlantis don't already have husbands, so Ronon can't quite understand why no one wants him to stay, but he gets the freakin' message when no one will even ask him back.
