I don't even KNOW you anymore
Hey, does Major NoName (the Lorne Replacement in Sateda who was all "It's my first time on the show, how 'bout a balls-out hostile interrogation of Rodney while he is in SURGERY for the ARROW IN HIS BUTT!") have a name? Obviously the show hasn't named him - those writers are too busy giggling over making Chuck call people by name and having them refuse to say his back to him to waste time on developing details for new minor characters.
But has Major NoName picked up a fanon nom de guerre?
I think I am writing a post-ep for Common Ground. I mean, actually, I know I am writing a post-ep for Common Ground, but unlike most of the things I write, it may see the light of day in this journal. So I am curious if anyone else has cared enough to name him yet.
I feel like - John gets back to Atlantis, and whatever else is going on with him (perpertual hard-on from the Injection of Youth, overwhelming crush on Kolya from the Essence of Young Genii Fanatic that was forced into him, etc) he has to face up to the way that the Genii had him for hours, and Halling!Wraith was ALL UP IN HIS SHIT.
I know that We of Atlantis like to be pretty lackadaisical re: military protocol and basic security measures, but I feel like there is not version of what happens to John next that doesn't include a long debrief with his 2IC.
He might be able to drag out his time with Carson a bit, if he was so inclined, although that would have to me motivated by (OH! OH! the Idea! I just had! never mind - nothing to see here, move along!)- but I kind of like to pretend that John Sheppard: Competant!Military!Commander! is a real guy. And that real guy would be talking to Major NoName even before he heads off to the gym for a sweaty session of "We're Not Wraith!" stick fighting with Teyla, or, even before he goes back to his quarters to fuck the shit out of Rodney with his new souped-up self (and 18 Year Old hard-on).
SO either I am going to name that guy, or someone already has.
