LOL. this is good writing.
it's so cool to be able to walk a couple blocks and get food. problem is that a lot of downtown places close immediately after work. so for weekends i have to go to city center, or drive.
so this ignorant black chick, about 5'6", 200lbs, and no teeth, was working today. subway was extremely busy. so she chose to make sandwiches for all of us in line, but not in order as she should have. first she got everyone's meat and cheese and then let it sit there. this is for about eight sandwiches. then she got everyone's condiments. then she got everyone's drinks. i was near the back of the line, so the dude in the front was waiting for all of us when he got there first! points for hatred: 1.
then i asked for lots of tomatoes, and she literally piled on like ten slices onto a 6" sub! points for shenequia being my new girlfriend: 1.
then the line started dying down and she was apologizing for the wait. this kid walks by. "they he is.. s'pos'dta be workin but he off walkin' round wit dem girls.." i'm like, working here? she says, "yeh, he ain't gon' be workn heah aft today doe!" i kind of chuckle. then - "problem is, he's gay!" i'm like, uh, what? "he gay!! and he still off screwin' round wit dem girls!!" points for hatred: 2.
then shenequia asks "anythin else fo you, baby?" "i'll take a chocolate chip cookie." "aw honey i'll give ya a cookie fo bein so patient wit me." "sweet, thanks a lot." points for shenequia being my new girlfriend: 1.
i get home and shenequia didn't give me a cookie - but rather, FOUR COOKIES!! and the sandwich was pretty good. additional points for shenequia being my new girlfriend: 1.
whew. a tie. she's not my new girlfriend - but i think i'll go back and see where this relationship takes me ;-)

a great night out on thursday, i got to see people from every "group" i know - my first group of friends introduced to me by my friend in miami, the group i met through lori at gibbys, the group that comes to the bar once every eight weeks, and the group i know from livejournal/fantasy baseball. i was fine even when i left the bar around 1:30, but as soon as i got home, i was pretty hammered. fun! but last night sucked. hopefully tonight will be another good one and i can close out the weekend as great.
i still have other things to update on, but instead i think i might eat another cookie. eep.
