new place
i'm moved in to the new place fully, internet up and running, computer set up... the move itself was a fucking ordeal, you should have seen me maneuvering this 17' uhaul around a little speedway to get diesel fuel. LOL, it was ridiculous. possibly the most rickety piece of shit vehicle i've ever ridden in, let alone simply driven. but it got my shit to the new pad.
i'm real happy but i have soooo much left to unpack and situate and etc., plus i have little things to do, like i realized i needed another cabinet or something in the bathroom to keep stuff in cuz the space i have now isn't enough.
by far the best part of this is the two intercoms - one that dials out to my cell, then i press 9 and it lets them in the door on the first floor (similar to water's edge, from what i understand?), and then another one up on my floor that buzzes into my kitchen and i buzz them in to the hallway - just like seinfeld. beautiful :)
but yeah, moved, but not by any means settled. as of now the place still looks trashed until i unpack boxes and situate everything. with these windows, it's also been very interesting, i feel like the entire city of columbus has seen my ass now!

oh, and fixed the brakes and A/C in my car. then fixed the A/C again two days later. after driving with it today, i have a feeling that the third time's the charm. when you spend 1200 damn dollars on repairs, you'd think it'd work the first time. boo. i really need to work on my glass half full philosophy :)
