Believe
I can’t believe that I felt this way,
I can’t believe I though I had a chance.
I mean I loved you more and more,
And all it took was a single glance.
You brought me so much joy,
It was a feeling I couldn’t explain.
Then she came back around,
All she could do was complain.
Everyone could tell she drove me crazy,
The worst part was I don’t think she knew.
But you always made things better, and
from day one I knew I want to be with you
I would laugh and smile and joke,
A would even sometimes cry.
Then all of this happened,
Is it even worth a second try?
I want to believe you’d be with me,
I want to believe we could be together.
If you don’t feel the same I’ll understand,
Either way I’ll still love you forever.
