I will spend the rest of my life with her.
I have not actually met her yet, but I have fallen IN love. I see being IN love as different from loving someone. In 42 years of life, I have only fallen in love once. I was talking to Amanda the other day, and it occurred to me that I was in love. I am not even sure that I have ever been there in love with anyone, even my former wife. Sure, I loved her very much, but I did not feel that I was in love. I just figured that I probably wouldn’t do better. We got divorced years ago, and Amanda is way better. I love her dearly, but am also IN love. It feels different. I like it.
