Question.
Why didn’t the warrior kill the servants? They were in the room with the children. So why didn’t he or they, if it was more than one, kill the servants? You think they would have tried to protect the children…so why leave them alive?
Wouldn’t they want revenge? Wouldn’t they go with Erlendur and tell him exactly who killed his siblings so that he could kill them? Wouldn’t they want to help if Erlendur ever decides to take revenge?
I just don’t understand why you would leave servants/slaves alive when they probably tried to protect their charges. I think it be safer to kill everyone if you wanted to kill someone.
