I finally figured out part of the/if not the reason reason I don’t like Jane. She is one of those characters that to me rely to heavily on the others. She’s a scientist but acts like a fangirl, like us, when she sees Thor. She forgets how smart she is and just acts dumb. As I said before, she acts like an idiot in relationships, especially one with Thor. I can understand when she is visiting his home while she can be so…out of it but then I can’t.
Jane is a woman who is really smart and really pretty and she basically acts like a damn stupid fangirl when she sees Thor.
I mean maybe we all would do the same but I actually hope we wouldn’t. It’s stupid to act like someone else and not yourself and Jane seems to be doing that. I don’t see their relationship lasting and it’s not on Thor’s part. I see Jane showing Thor one part and everyone else another and Thor wondering why she can’t be that way with him. I see Jane acting like she’s always been that way only to have Thor be told she hasn’t. I see Jane, not Thor, breaking them apart because Thor needs the strong woman she can be and should be instead of the idiotic one she acts like around him. I see Jane hurting Thor and Thor hurting her back, unintentionally, and she using that as an excuse on why they need to break up.
I think I would love Jane more if she didn’t act like a different person around Thor and just acted like herself.
