So I asked and am allowed to steal this. This is from a mother with children I follow on Facebook and I totally agree with it. I think it is needed everywhere.
- Thanks to all the political commercials for showing adults bullying other adults so all of our children could see it any time the TV was on over the past few months. I’m glad my kids are too young for Facebook or else they could have witnessed all the bullying that went on here as well. This will be the only political statement I ever make on Facebook….I am glad the election is over! Now our kids get to go to school and learn about the anti-bullying campaign than has become necessary in all of our schools (wonder why?!). Awesome mixed messages to kids from the adults of the world!
She is correct, so many mixed messages and we wonder why we need the anti-bullying campaigns? Lord, we say we are tolerant but I don’t believe we are. If we are, none of the bullying would happen. Ever.
Another mother commented that her child said they aren't allowed to talk about the election in school. Wonder why?
