Music, Church, and More

What is wrong with John Lennon's song 'Imagine'. I mean my church seems to hate the Beatles and their music.  I kindof understand but then I don't. They say sharing everything is communism but didn't the bible say to share everything?  Share the possessions?

I don't understand why The Beatles are so bad.  Why church seems to say that their music is wrong. I still don't understand. It's music and music to me can give some people a deeper understanding and then not.

They say John Lennon is burning in Hell. But how do they know for sure?  No one knows who is saved and who isn't.  No one ever knows until we get up to Heaven. No one except God that is.

So how can people say that someone went to/is going to Hell?  I thought Christians were supposed to pray for people to get saved, be saved when they died. Not call them sinners and say they are in Heaven.

My church prays that the President, Vice-President, Speaker of the House, and others get saved so why is it so wrong to think that Lennon and the other Beatles got saved?  Why is it always Lennon that is brought up in church and seems to be the one people talk about, don't like?

I have so much more to say but it's hard for me to speak what is on my mind. Especially about The Beatles. I'll admit I know of them but only heard a few of their songs and that is by others. A few they sang but it's like Elvis Presley. I know his music, him, but don't really like him. I like Johnny Cash and others but then I don't. I think it really depends on how I here the songs and here of the artists. I guess.

It's like some music I didn't like before but I do now.  The Beatles being one of the artists, like Queen and Elvis and Johnny Cash and more. Metal never did anything for me but I am liking it now.  With metal, is it as wrong as other genres?  Don't Christians have to adapt a bit?  To actually reach the world?

My church says no but I really don't understand what they mean. They say that the world should not make us confirm to it but let us reach the world the way we always have, preaching God's word as it was written.

Music to me can have a deeper meaning and then it can't. To me to reach people in certain places, music is easier to use. In bringing people to God, music is the easiest because most humans listen to it. I wanted to say all but except for singing at church, my church/mom doesn't.

They think music, Christian and etc, are to worldly. Maybe it is but it made me look up and question my life.  The way I saw or acted for years. So to me, music can be good or bad. Mostly good. There can be good and bad, I know but most music I like is good.

Question about Lennon's money:

Who got his royalties/money? Yoko Ono or his children?  I would think his kids got the most because the couple had none correct?

My response to a comment my pastor made about swearing and clothes:

Wait, because I swear I don't have God?  I don't believe in him or anything?  Yes, I swear, yes I say Hell, Damn, and etc but still!  I know swearing is wrong but why? I never understood and probably never will.  Dress to me is just dress. They say not to were men/women's clothing. Were your own.  I say men make womens clothes mostly and women make both.  Does that mean going everywhere naked? I feel more comfortable in jeans than in skirts.  I like dresses but don't like shopping (I'm starting to slowly), don't like dressing up.

I say I'm a Christian but I'm a believer really.  I'm not a Fundelmental Baptist jsut a believer in God, in myself, in my beliefs.  A Christian but actually someone who is a God-Believer.  That's it.
