Look at Adam Lambert, I love the artist, but to even think about joining his fan club it is over $30 just to get a nice package. Yes, it's $10 to get in to start but if I'm joining a club, I want my moneys worth and that is about $200. Who has that kind of money? Do you? Does your job let you buy everything you want, like all the artist albums and whatever else you want? Look, I don't mean to sound angry but I don't have that much money and others don't either. If getting free music downloads means I can join the club and get what I want from it, I'll take the free music downloads.
Not only does free music bring us new artists but old ones also. Savage Garden, I listened to them today and forgot how much I loved them so I went looking for albums and songs. Every artist can get people to fall for them, their songs, and albums. People can try out all genres, not just the one they are most comfortable in this way.
