i'm in a list makin' mood
this week has been strange. i have:
-stockpiled pickles. i found a place that sells bread and butter pickles. in a weird way they remind me of my grandmother. there are 6 jars in my apartment now.
-got an entire bar drunk. i'll admit that there were not many people in the bar. maybe seven, minus the bartenders. nobody left sober. including the bartenders.
-went to a museum that featuring an animatronic display of a japanese interrogator sticking bamboo shoots under a korean woman's fingernails complete with prerecorded screaming.
-learned a card game that's rules include "john always loses"
-taught a class that required the use of a flashcard picturing a boy in a bed with a surprised look on his face. the caption: it feels hard.
-spent 2 hours at a bar playing a very competitive game of jenga.
