in a stroke of marketing genius, someone at the Lotte company came up with pepero day. for the uninitiated, pepero are chocolate covered breadsticks. pepero day is considered a serious holiday amongst all the good korean boys and girl. the only way to celebrate pepero day is to buy and exchange pepero a brandname owned by Lotte. i love it when organization make up holidays and traditions to turn a buck for example: valentines day or giving diamonds for an engagement or jesus.
