This Year's Garden

Here's what I'm going to try growing this year.  I also have a plan to keep other animals from eating everything - I'm inviting the Michigan Militia to use the yard as a training center this summer.

Long Red Cayenne Pepper (shocked these when I moved them outside last year)
Chamomile ('Cause they're cute.  These might be for sale in the Thrift Shop)
Garlic Chives (Yummy.  Something ate these last year)
Cippolini Onions (These are also cute)
Spicy Globe Basil (Great for growing in containers)
Boston Pickling Cucumbers (I didn't even have enough cucumbers to bother picking last year.  Oddly one of the few things that didn't get eaten)
Tiny Tim Tomatoes (Grows 10-15 inches tall and makes lots of sweet little tomatoes)
Victoria Rhubarb (I miss having rhubarb around.  We had a HUGE rhubarb plant when I was a kid)

There's a bunch of other things I would like to grow but it depends on growing space.  I might also grow
Chinese Pink Garlic (need I say anything?)
Popcorn
Potatoes (probably in a big container)
Broccoli (anyone grow any around here?  How does it do?)
Cabbage (sauerkraut.  Mmm...)

And who knows what else.
