PEZ is a very interesting candy. They are independent, and they have been producing the same flavors for decades, the exception being the recent addition of Peppermint to the classic range. Since the beginning, Pez has packaged it's chalky little flavor tablets with collectible dispensers, which nowadays are designed thematically to coincide with a holiday season or release of a movie, usually involving some sort of licensing.
However, one can still purchase solely the Pez itself. The individual Pez candies are contained much like stick gum; a tiny sheet of one-sided foil paper wrap in a colored paper sleeve label. They are sometimes packaged as "refills," but are often found in yellow multi-packs behind clear plastic, in gross quantity. Yet because Pez's smaller, paper containers are not likely to stay together once opened, it is difficult for one person to enjoy the candy without eating a superfluous amount of it in one sitting. So you'll probably end up buying the stupid dispensers anyway.
