This was a week of more live theatre and fun!
The week's headline comes from Thursday night's visit to Wicked. It was playing at South Coast, Andy had been asking to go and Ryan hadn't seen it before, so we made a trip to Oz!
Monday I ran out of ideas/time and was at the gym. If I'm doing slice-of-life that's certainly a major one, so there you go...
I thought an overhead map of Mage Knight was a fun little change for Tuesday's weekly game shot. All finished up, the map is always kind of fun to look at.
Monday I actually had to cut the gym short because I was ill, so I didn't go to the market, leaving that for Wednesday.
Speaking of the market, they've got their collect-and-win Monopoly game going again this year. I think I waited a bit long to start opening the tickets.... I hope I win something! :)
Saturday is the only day of this month I'll really be able to have a big game day, so we made sure to get a game of Battlestar Galactica in. Frakkin' humans got away. :(
Sunday was The Magic Flute at the LA Opera. This is a fun production, because the stage is set up to look like a silent movie screen, and the singers interact with the screen (some of their costuming is even animated effects), with the dialog from the show done as dialog animation rather than spoken word. It's the second time the LA Opera has done this production recently, so I brought a friend and we had a great time!
