dear m.i.a.,

thanks for being the single most important artist on my road to creating music.  i listen to you pretty much every day.  'paper planes' is my default first-cig-of-the-day song, and i've written many rap verses over your songs.  you're the best thing to happen to music in many years, in my humble opinion.  i just had a fantasy about meeting you on the sidewalk in nyc and telling you about how much of an influence you've been.  you ask me to rap for you, and then ask me to join you on tour and record a cd with you.  hopefully that happens sometimes.
