Foreclosure Rant
Our house has been on the market for about 70 days now and it frustrates me that people like Grant and I would are going to buy a house that is twice the value of ours cannot sell b/c of all the foreclosures in the area. It is backwards. The people that are selling their houses "pre-foreclosure" for a minimal amount are able to get buyers b/c they are selling for such a low price. Those people are not going to be able to buy a house for years and are never going to help the market, yet, people like us who will help the market cannot sell because of people like them...grr...frustrating. We have two people interested, one really interested in buying for her mother, but has yet to make an offer. We even lowered $3000 in hopes of enticing her to make a offer....it has been 5 days and nothing...please keep your fingers crossed for us! I really want to get out of here before winter so I don't have to walk Rip and the baby in the snow when Grant is at basketball all night!!!!
