Ultrasound complete
We had our first ultrasound on Monday. It was really neat. It is amazing what they can see on the screen using the device. We got to see our baby's side profile mostly because s/he was not cooperating totally with the technician. The tech had to bounce around with the device to try to get the baby to move so she could measure his/her head. Finally she was able to get the measurement. We did not find out the sex...as stated before, because we don't want to know! As long as we have a healthy happy baby...then we will be happy and love him/her just the same. The tech estimated that my due date is probably going to be changed from Oct. 24 to Oct. 17 due to the measurements taken at the ultrasound. I don't remember how tall and the weight she told me, but I go back to the doctor on July 2nd where I am sure he will talk a little more about it.
We registered at Target and some things on Amazon.com. I am going to go to Walmart tonight and register too since that will make it easier for Grant's family/friends to buy gifts for us since the closest Target is about 1 1/2 hours away. Though, it is nice because you can purchase things online at Target.com, Walmart.com and on Amazon, so that should make it easy on people if they do not want to travel to shop. Not all the things on Target are available online, but a few things are. It was fun picking out everything so far! My first shower is going to be August 18th (Grant's family) and then my family will probably have one in mid-Sept. Gifts are fun! :)
